(Best Syndication News) - Google announced today that they will be retiring iGoogle, which is a personalized homepage. The iGoogle website offers users a way to customize several feeds of information such as weather, news, games, and more at one location. The mobile version of iGoogle will be retired on July 31, 2012, while the standard computer web-browser version will retire in 16 months on November 1, 2013.

Google suggests users download any data that may be stored up there. They can do this by looking for a "download all" option in a drop down menu next to the widget’s title. Many of the widgets come from a third party, and might not have this option. Google suggests contacting the third party widget maker to ask how to get the data downloaded.

(Best Syndication News) - Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY) announced the availability of Lenovo Mobile Access service to provide Internet and corporate network connections wherever a person is. The company has embedded the service into certain ThinkPad notebook computers.

The service comes with no-contract requirements. The occasional user can buy a “Time Pass” that starts at $1.95 for 30 minutes of time, or $8.95 for a one-day pass. This is great for people who travel from time-to-time and want to remain connected while away from home or their business.

Longer duration plans offered are monthly plans that vary between 2 GB up to 6 GB of data transfer. There is also an automatic monthly renewal option for people that will be using it for a longer duration of time. This would more than likely appeal to business people because they may need the connectivity on a day-to-day business as they travel regularly.

Friskies announce Android and iPad 3 tablet support for You Vs. Cat Game

see below

(Best Syndication News) - Friskies, you know the cat food manufacturer, have released games for cats that are played on tablets. They also made a game that humans can play against their cat. Last month, Friskies released the You vs. Cat app for the Apple iPad and iPad 2 tablets, but now have added support for Android and iPad 3 tablets.

Friskies developed a variety of cat games that work on the tablet. Cats can play solo with the game. For instance, they can be challenged with one game that has them trying to catch a fish in a pond. There is also other versions of the game that has a moving object split into multiple moving objects. Of course, it would not be fun if a human could not join in with the cat.
