HP announces possible offer to buy Autonomy Corporation and an end to WebOS Operations

(Best Syndication News) - HP (NYSE: HPQ) acknowledged that they are in discussions with Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU.L) for making a possible offer. HP also announced that they will discontinue webOS devices. Additionally, the Hewlett-Packard Company is having their board of directors explore options for their Personal Systems Group (PSG).

Autonomy Corporation, which was founded in 1996, is a software infrastructure solution provider for managing business and large organization data files. HP did not give specific details about their intent to buy the company.

The new Logitech® Gaming Mouse G300 will remember up to three video game or player profiles with onboard memory built in. The mouse can be switched between computer systems without having to worry about configuring the settings each time. The profile settings are color assigned making it easy to retrieve. The mouse will light up with one of seven different colors to help users know which profile is being used.

The mouse is designed to work for either left or right-handed players. The shape of the mouse was designed to be comfortable for both hands. The mouse has a 2500 DPI optical sensor, which is better at moving and navigating with precision.

Kindle Books can be read on many platforms such as the Kindle Readers, Apple iPads, Apple iPhones, and PC and Mac computers.

The Amazon Kindle Cloud Reader is supported on the Google Chrome or Apple Safari browsers currently. You can get the app at www.amazon.com/cloudreader. The new app will eventually be made available for Internet Explorer, Firefox, and the BlackBerry PlayBook Internet Browsers. They will add support to other mobile devices over the next few months.

Toshiba announces new Qosmio F755 3D Laptop are Glasses Free and available this August

This new 3D laptop will produce a 3D display without using any special glasses. The laptop display is also capable of displaying traditional 2D format. The manufacturer suggested retail price for the Qosmio F755 3D laptop computer is $1,699.99.

The Qosmio F755 3D laptop uses auto-stereoscopic display technology to deliver the 3D depth perception without the use of any special glasses. The laptop screen measures 15.6-inches diagonally. The HD format display uses TruBrite with Active Lens technology. The 3D image occurs when two sets of images are projected at the same time. The left and right eyes get separate images to make it appear in 3D.

Apple MacBook Air – New Thunderbolt offers 10 Gbps Transfer Speeds

The MacBook Air uses the new Thunderbolt connection for devices, the Mac OS X Lion operating system, and a backlit keyboard. The MacBook Air pricing starts at $999 and goes up from their depending on the size and configuration.

The MacBook Air comes in 11–inch and 13–inch sizes. The enclosure is made of aluminum, which helps to make this an extremely slim laptop computer. The thickest the MacBook Air measures is .68 of an inch. The 11-inch model only weighs 2.38 pounds, and the 13-inch model weighs in at only 2.96 pounds.
