Verizon FiOS TV adds WatchESPN for the Xbox

(Best Syndication News) - Verizon FiOS TV customers can now get WatchESPN on their Microsoft Xbox 360 game consoles. Additionally, HD video of live broadcasts and events from ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3, and ESPN Goal Line/Buzzer Beaters are accessible for Xbox LIVE Gold members. Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE, Nasdaq: VZ) made the announcement Tuesday.

The new addition will allow Verizon FiOS subscribers to watch popular ESPN shows, such as "SportsCenter," "PTI," "First Take," "NFL Live," "Baseball Tonight," "College GameDay," "Mike & Mike in the Morning," and more on their Xbox. Live sporting event broadcasts from the NFL, MLB, NBA, motor sports, soccer, golf, tennis, and more will now be delivered to the Xbox through ESPN.

Sports Schedule for This Weekend – Baseball Basketball Golf and NASCAR

(Best Syndication News) This weekend there will be several sports events including the NASCAR Kobalt Tools 400 in Las Vegas, the Honda Classic, and various Major League Baseball games. The Lakers and Clippers will also be playing this weekend.


The NASCAR 2011 Sprint Cup Series continues with the Kobalt Tools 400 on Sunday (see the chart below). The weather is expected to be dry and warm. Kurt Busch is the defending pole sitter. The race begins at 3 pm ET and will be shown on FOX.

Final Four Teams On Their Way To Indianapolis

(Best Syndication News) We are down to the wire in men’s college basketball as this last weekend’s games in Texas, Utah, New York and Missouri have produced the final four teams which will be going to Indianapolis to play in the 2010 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament.

On Saturday #2 West Virginia beat #1 Kentucky 73 to 66 and #5 Butler beat #2 Kansas State 63 to 56 in two upsets. These games decided the east and west conference / regions.

But it wasn’t until Sunday when we found out what other two teams will be rounding-out the final four.

Final Four Tickets Available For Men’s College Basketball

(Best Syndication News) It is coming down to the wire and half of the final four are already determined. There were upsets in the higher ranked “elite eight” games today.

Butler beat Kansas State 63-56 and West Virginia beat Kentucky 73-66. The Butler Bulldogs were ranked 5th and beat #2 Kansas State. Meanwhile #2 West Virginia upset #1 seed Kentucky.

You will see both Butler and West Virginia in Indianapolis for the Final Four.

March Madness and Major League Baseball Tickets Available Through StubHub

(Best Syndication News) It is March and that means it is time to prepare for the 2010 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament, aka March Madness, and the beginning of Major League Baseball season. According to the online ticket service, StubHub, the tickets will be available.

Sixty-five schools will participate in the elimination tournament to determine the national champion. The tournament will begin on March 16, 2010 and end on April 5th at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

An opening game will be played on the 16th. The winner of the "play-in game" will advance to the main draw of the tournament and play a top seed in one of the regional games. This opening game will be played at the University of Dayton Arena in Dayton, Ohio, as it has been since its inception in 2001.
