The 1995 OJ Simpson murder trial was one of the strangest court cases of all time, but now a new book may add to the surreal tail. One of America’s most popular sports superstars, Orenthal James Simpson was found not-guilty of killing his wife, Nicole Simpson, and her acquaintance Ron Goldman. What made the case incredibly bizarre was the fact that many outside the courtroom felt the ex-professional running back was guilty.

Simpson was later found liable in a civil trial for their stabbing death. After that case, he moved to Florida where it became almost impossible for anyone to collect. But did anyone ever suspect a book-deal was coming?

According to a report from the Associated Press, the publisher, Judith Reagan, says Simpson approached her about the book. In an eight-page statement released Friday, Regan said Simpson approached her with the idea for the book, “If I did it”, in which he hypothesizes how he would have committed the killings of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend.

The Oakland Raiders beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 20-13 with help from last year’s top receiver Jerry Porter. Porter has not played much this year since his October 15th suspension. He was kicked out of practice by Coach Art Shell.

The suspension was challenged by the NFL Players Association the next week. They claimed the suspension was “excessive” and the suspension was later reduced. This added to the tension between Shell and Porter who said he wanted to be traded last year.

While football is considered one of America's greatest pastimes, few know the secrets of throwing the ball properly. A proper football pass is a perfect spiral delivered directly to the target. With that in mind, this article will attempt to explain some methods that actual football coaches use to teach their quarterbacks the right way to throw.

When trying to throw the perfect spiral, there are three things that you need to consider: the positioning of your hand, the release of the ball, and the timing of the whole pass movement. As far as gripping the football goes, many coaches recommend that you grip the ball with your ring finger placed on the first lace of the football. Your pinky should also grip the laces, and the best positioning for the pinky is between the next two laces up from the first. This usually varies from player to player, due to hand size and preference. For instance, Michael Vick of the Philadelphia Eagles is a highly respected quarterback who keeps his fingers on laces one and four, respectively.
