Club Car Golf Cart Recall announced for Possible Fuel Leak

Several Models of Club Car vehicles involved in recall - CPSC

(Best Syndication News) - The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the voluntary recall of Club Car golf cars and utility vehicles because they could leak fuel. The company received 10 reports of leaking gasoline, which has prompted the recall. The problem involves the fuel tank filler neck which could crack. The crack can cause fuel to leak and the leaking gas can become a fire hazard.

Around 4,000 golf cars and utility vehicles are involved in the recall. They were sold at authorized Club Car dealers nationwide between April 2012 and June 2012 with prices ranging between $5,500 and $17,700.

The recalled models are the 2012 Club Car gasoline and diesel golf cars and utility vehicles. The model number and serial number can be found on the passenger’s side floorboard on a decal. The words “Club Car” are printed on the front. The serial number and model numbers involved are listed below.
