Borders Books Going out of Business Sale with discounts up to 40 percent off

(Best Syndication News) - Borders Book stores are going out of business with up to 40 percent off discounts on their books and merchandise. The discounts are only valid at their retail stores. Their airport location store prices may have a different program. The going-out-of-business sale will be held at all Borders, Borders Express, and Waldenbook stores.

Borders Rewards Plus program participants will continue to receive additional discounts for a limited time longer. Additionally if you have any Border Bucks from their rewards program, this is your last chance to cash them in. They are also taking Border gift cards for payments during their closing sale.

Usually, as a going out of business sale continues, larger discounts will be offered. The downside is that you might miss out on something that you really wanted because the shelves can get pretty empty towards the end of the sale. So it may be worth making a couple of trips to the store as the sale continues to see what new discounts have been applied.

“Funding can be pulled from specified programs to be used for things such as school improvement grants, aid for the disadvantaged, reading first, math and science partnerships, innovation programs, and rural and low-income programs.”
