Ford Focus and Fiesta vehicles for The Sims 3 video game is a free download

(Best Syndication News) - Ford announced that they have a free virtual download on the Sims3 website of their Ford Focus and Fiesta cars. Ford had their vehicles available for the Sims 2 video game but now have free downloads for the latest version of the life simulation video game. Ford says that their virtual vehicles have been downloaded 8 million times for The Sims video games.

You have to have the Sims 3 video game to use the Free downloads are for the Hatchback, 2011 Fiesta Sedan and Fiesta Urban Streetscape. Inside the Urban Streetscape package, there is Fiesta Urban Style graffiti, Never Get Lost Again street sign, Maid o' Meter parking space with meter, and a Hot Stuff Crossing.

(Best Syndication News) Woes at Sony continue to push their share price lower while a new announcement from Nintendo helps bolster their stock value (see comparison chart below). Microsoft was also higher.

The share price of Nintendo Co., Ltd (ADR) (PINK:NTDOY) jumped 0.25 (0.91%) to $28.17. It continued to gain in after hours, up another five cents (0.16%) to $28.22.

The company unveiled their new video game system, the Wii U, in Los Angeles today. Satoru Iwata, Nintendo global president, was onstage demonstrating the device that looks part-tablet and part-game console. The Wii U incorporates a touch screen similar to a tablet.

(Best Syndication News) -Nintendo unveiled the new Wii U system at the E3 Expo tradeshow which is going on this week in Los Angeles. The new video game console is expected to become available in 2012.

The new Nintendo Wii U video game console will have a new kind of controller. The controller looks like a combination between a controller and a tablet. The tablet has a display screen that will interact with the television screen. It has touch screen capabilities that will work with games by themselves as well. Examples given were drawing pictures on the controller and playing a video game, or an electronic version of the board game Othello.

The game controller also has a built in camera that will let you video conference. It is an interesting concept. Watch below the unveiling of the Nintendo Wii U at the E3 Expo.

PlayStation Network Status – Finally working across the United States

(Best Syndication News) Sony has finally re-opened their PlayStation Network throughout the United States. Late yesterday the service was only available in a few states, but today that has changed. All 50 states have service with a caveat.

“Notice: If your state is illuminated but your service has not yet been restored, please be patient – it can take a little while for the servers to populate fully,” the company said Sunday. “We will update users as soon as possible when the remainder of the service is accessible,” they added.

PSN Update V3.61 – Passwords need to be changed

(Best Syndication News) Sony’s announced that users of their PlayStation Network (PSN) will be required to change their password.

Some will receive an email with a link to change their account. “If you have never downloaded any content using your account on the system, an email will be sent to the registered sign-in ID associated with your account when you first attempt to sign-in to PSN,” Sony said in a statement Saturday May 14th 2011.

Besides a new password, the online gaming network will be updating their software and will require users to up-date their software (v3.61). This up-date is “mandatory”.
