Preakness Winner Curlin Ties Record – Street Smarts Loses By A Head

Curlin After Win

(Best Syndication) The finish of the 132nd Preakness was the closest finish in a decade. The winner, Curlin, also tied the race record for the fastest ever, 1:53.46. The horse is being called a monster after he dug in and chased down the number two horse, Street Sense.

Curlin has only been racing for four months, and even stumbled out of the gate. Jockey Robby Albarado had trouble negotiating the first tight corner, but in the end made headway in the final stretch. He ended up winning by just a head in front of Street Sense.

Our swing theory points you in the right direction and gives you a system of fundamentals to measure yourself against. In golf this is very important; however situations arise where you just can't figure out why you are having certain difficulties. Whether your problem is hitting behind the ball or hitting the ball thin, sometimes we are clueless to where the problem lies.

We teach a fairly horizontal swing plane in comparison to most. Even though there are major benefits to this version of the golf swing certain complications can arise very quickly. This tip in particular was designed to keep golfers from hitting behind the ball. My objective is to inform you of all areas of the golf swing so that when certain situations arise, you can adjust accordingly. And ultimately checkpoints pre-established.

The Dodgers new third baseman wasted no time getting on base with a ground-rule double. Andy LaRoche made it home with a hit from outfielder Andre Ethier. That tied the game at one. Ethier later made it home himself.

Wilson Betemit hit two pinch-hit homers in two consecutive days making the score four to one. But later Atlanta came back and tied it up. Edgar Renteria drove in a pair of runs and scored twice while extending his hit streak to 15 games. They ended up putting five runs up in the 7th inning.
