Natural Balance Dry Dog Food products Recalled for possible Salmonella Contamination

(Best Syndication News) - The US Food and Drug administration announced that Natural Balance Pet Foods have issued a voluntary recall of some of their dry dog food because they may be contaminated with Salmonella. The food was manufactured at Diamond Pet Foods, which has had an ongoing recall of dog food products since April 2012.

The company said that they have not received any reports of pets being ill from eating the food. Out of extreme caution, the company decided to recall the dog food.

Not all of the pet food is being recalled – only the ones listed with the matching codes and dates. See below for the Natural Balance Dog Food recall list. The Natural Balance Sweet Potato & Venison Dog, Natural Balance Lamb Meal & Brown Rice Dog, Natural Balance Vegetarian Dog, and Natural Balance Sweet Potato & Bison Dog brands have been named in this recall in various sized packages.

Exmark Riding Mower Recall announced for Important Repair

Exmark Quest ZRT riding mower recall - CPSC

(Best Syndication News) - The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a voluntary recall from Exmark Mfg. Co. Inc., because the Quest ZRT riding mower deck could fail from faulty bearings. This can cause interference with the operator’s control, which could cause the lawnmower to possibly crash.

Around 2,200 of the Exmark Quest ZRT 42” riding lawnmowers are involved in this recall. The manufacturer received 18 reports of the deck failing. No injuries were reported. The mowers were sold between March 2009 and April 2010 at Exmark dealers nationwide.

(Best Syndication News) - A dry dog food recall has expanded for a third time to include certain bags of Diamond Puppy Formula, because it could potentially be contaminated with Salmonella. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the voluntary recall issued by Diamond Pet Foods.

The latest recall was added after a sampling of the Diamond Puppy Formula tested positive for Salmonella. Not all bags are involved in the recall. Only the ones listed at the bottom of the article are involved in this recall.

Diamond distributed the recalled pet for to Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. The dog food could have been sent to other states as it was further distributed to retailers.

Diamond Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul Adult Light formula Dog Food labels - FDA

(Best Syndication News) - The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced a voluntary recall issued by Diamond Pet Foods for one production run that includes four production codes of Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover’s Soul Adult Light formula dry dog food. The product could be contaminated with Salmonella. One bag tested positive for Salmonella, which prompted Diamond to recall four production codes out of precaution. As of Friday, no dogs have been reported ill.

The recalled Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover’s Soul Adult Light Formula dry dog food was distributed in Florida, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia. The pet food could have been further distributed to other states. Diamond is working with distributors and retailers to pull the product from their inventory.

Kawasaki USA recall announced for Four Wheel Recreational Vehicle to Correct Maxiumum Occupancy Limit

Kawasaki Teryx Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Recall - CPSC

(Best Syndication News) - The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a voluntary recall issued by Kawasaki USA for Teryx Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles because they are incorrectly labeled for the maximum number of riders, which could cause injury or death. The company is sending out a new label to replace the incorrect one that will identify the correct number of occupants that can rider safely in the vehicle. No injuries were reported in association with this recall notice.

Around 2,000 of the vehicles are involved in the recall. They were sold at Kawasaki dealers nationwide between August 2011 through March 2012. The model types involved are the 2012 Kawasaki types Teryx 750 FI 4x4, Teryx 750 FI 4x4 LE, Teryx 750 FI 750 4x4 LE SGE and Teryx 750 FI 4x4 Sport. The model type is printed on the hood of the vehicle. The four-wheel recreational vehicles come in green, red, grey, silver, black, and camouflage khaki.
