(Best Syndication News) - The voluntary recall of scuba diving hoses was announced by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) today, because they could burst when being used, which could cause the diver to be without an air supply and possibly drowned. Around 17,000 of the Miflex High Pressure Scuba Diving Hoses are involved in the recall. The recall was announced after XS Scuba received 189 reports of the hose failing. No injuries have been reported.

The hoses were imported and distributed in the US and Canada by XS Scuba, Inc., of Santa Ana, California. The hoses came from Miflex 2, located in Villasanta, Italy. XS Scuba sold the hoses through scuba diving retailers, and online between May 2009 and April 2012 for around $44 and $60 each.

The packaging could fail to hold the blades and could fall out, which poses a risk of a person becoming injured. Out of safety concerns, Irwin is offering saw blade owners a free storage container to keep the blades stored safely.

Around 55,260 of the 3-pack blades have been sold in the US exclusively at Lowe’s stores nationwide from approximately October 2011 through November 2011 at a price of $40. The recall involves Irwin Classic Series 10-inch Circular Saw Blade Limited Promotion 3-Packs. The blades are all 10-inch sized with one 60 teeth (60T), and 2 of the 40 teeth (40T) blades.

Diamond Naturals Lamb & Rice Dog Food Recall for possible Salmonella Contamination

(Best Syndication News) - The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced today the voluntary recall of certain Diamond Pet Foods' dry dog food, because it could possibly be contaminated with Salmonella. Only the Diamond Naturals Lamb Meal & Rice that was packed in various weights with the use-by dates of January 3, or January 4, 2012 are involved. All other Diamond brand pet food products are safe to feed to pets. No dogs have been reported ill from the food.

Diamond distributed the recalled dog food to Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia. It could be possible that the food was sent to even more states from there.

(Best Syndication News) - The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the voluntary recall of Husqvarna Grass and Hedge Trimmers because of a fire hazard. The company is offering a free repair to fix the problem.

Around 19,500 grass trimmers and 6,500 hedge trimmers are involved in the recall. The problem is that a rubber spacer around the fuel lines in the fuel tank could leak causing a possible fire. Husqvarna received seven reports of the fuel leaking, and no injuries were reported.

The grass and hedge trimmers were sold nationwide at Lowes, Sears, and Husqvarna dealers for around $150 to $320. They were sold to consumers between May 2011 and January 2012.

Lakeshore Learning recalls Feels Real Baby Dolls for Choking Danger

(Best Syndication News) - The US Consumer Protection Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the voluntary recall of Feels Real Baby Dolls that were sold through Lakeshore Learning Material catalogs and online, because the finger and toes could detach and become a choking hazard.

Around 3,900 dolls in the US and 400 dolls in Canada are involved in the recall. They were sold online at www.lakeshorelearning.com and through mail-order catalogs between May 2011 through January 2012 at a cost around $20. The dolls were made by Yan Hong Toys from Dongguan, China and were imported by Lakeshore Learning Materials of Carson, California.
