Star Wars is going to be issued as a 15 piece commemorative postage stamp collector’s sheet. There is a sweepstakes in which you can vote for your favorite stamps in the next 55 days and be entered in a chance to win a trip to Los Angeles.

To launch the Postal Service Stamp, there were 400 special R2D2 decorated postal mail drop off boxes installed across the country. Sadly, our post office was not one of them.

Lucas Film Ltd. is celebrating 30 years since the first release of the Star Wars movie and the postage stamps will be issued on May 25th, at the Star Wars Celebration IV at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This is going to be one of the biggest Star Wars events held so far.

On March 16, Menu Foods announced a recall of both dog and cat food because it has caused kidney problems, killing some pets. The canned foods are under a number of brand names, such as Iams, and consumers should visit the manufacturer’s website to see if they have the brand manufactured between December 3, 2006 and March 6, 2007. In the mean time Menu Foods Income Fund experienced a 25 percent drop after the recall has been announced.

The problem with the kidney problems is related to a new ingredient that was added to the food. Menu Foods will be discontinuing the new ingredient. Tests were completed on the food, and no particular causes of the renal problems were pinpointed. The suspect at this time is wheat gluten, but still the manufacturer is not certain.

To launch the new coins New Yorkers are invited to exchange their old paper dollar bills for the new dollar coin at Grand Central Terminal.

The first dollar coin has President George Washington. The coin is golden color with four coins with different presidents being announced each year. This year you will also see the release of John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison on the new dollar coins.

On the flip side of the coin will have an image of the Statue of Liberty on the edge of the coin the coin will have an inscription saying “E Pluribus Unum” and “In God We Trust.” Engravings on the edge of the coin haven’t happened since the 1930’s. It brings back memories of my Grandma giving out silver dollars to us as a gift. These coins could be quite collectible.

Well, age-old experience and a one-track dedication towards maintaining a unique health conscious formula has made Buffalo hot wing sauce a legend in the hot wing barbecue sauce industry.

Most barbecue sauces mix a sour, sweet and spicy taste. Much in demand, hot wing sauces are tomato based with vinegar and sugar as the key components. However, Buffalo hot wing sauce is preservative free with no MSG, cholesterol or sugars. Buffalo Wing Time sauces were developed specially for health freaks who would go for a wing and the treadmill afterwards, with equal zest.

Try These Scrabble House Rules

Any family with a Scrabble tradition has doubtless developed their own set of house rules, particularly if that household includes children requiring modifications. House rules can make play more interesting and lively, place an emphasis on learning rather than competition, or simply be used to speed the game up. Below, are some common house rules I’ve heard about or used at home. Each rule adds its own twist to the game. I welcome you to try them!

Eternal Bonus Squares: I was raised on this one. What was my disappointment when I found out at a friend’s house that the rules killed the efficacy of the bonus square once it was covered! By deeming them “eternal,” meaning they remain in force and count every time the word is added to, each move becomes more rewarding than the first. Scores soar into the hundreds. Egos inflate. The skillful player must try to make words that can’t be added to, at least when covering a bonus square.
