Bugaboo Stroller recall announced for Carry Handle Replacement

(Best Syndication News) - Bugaboo Cameleon and Bugaboo Donkey Model Strollers are being recalled because the carrying handle could fail. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada have announced the voluntary recall of around 46,300 strollers in the U.S. and 4,440 in Canada.

The importer, Bugaboo Americas, announced the recall after receiving 58 reports that the carrying handle detaching unexpectedly. No injuries were reported to the company.

A button in the handle could break loose posing a choking hazard and the handle could detach unexpectedly causing the child to fall. Replacing the carrying handle is expected to prevent potential choking hazards and fall dangers. Bugaboo International B.V., located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, is the manufacturer of the Bugaboo strollers.

(Best Syndication News) - Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) released a new Fly Delta app for the Apple iPad and the iPhone. The new app will offer entertainment glass-bottomed jet viewing while in flight and a more practical trip-planning itinerary checklist. In addition to their new app, Delta has been improving their website and kiosks.

The airline has invested around $140 million in technology improvements, including a revamping of their Delta.com website in November 2012. The company has also made improvements to their self-service kiosks last September.

John Deere Gator Utility Vehicle recalled for repair

(Best Syndication News) - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the voluntary recall of John Deere Gator™ RSX850i Base, Sport, and Trail model utility vehicles because the fuel line could come apart and become a potential fire danger. John Deere dealers will be offering a free inspection and repair to remedy this problem.

Around 4,650 of the John Deere Gator Utility vehicles are involved in the recall. Deere and Company (NYSE:DE) received three reports of the fuel line separating, with no injuries involved. The vehicles were sold between August 2012 and October 2012 by John Deere dealers at a cost between $12,900 and $15,500.

(Best Syndication News) - Blizzard Entertainment announced that they would be releasing a 350-page book containing almost 800 pieces of artwork from their video games such as Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo. Insight Editions is the publisher of the new The Art of Blizzard book. The artwork will cover some of the company’s never-before-seen work on unpublished projects.

In Southern California, at Gallery Nucleus, a special engagement will be held on January 12, 2013 between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. The event will celebrate the release of The Art of Blizzard book. Over 60 pieces of artwork will be on display at Nucleus until February 3, 2013. A $5 entrance fee at the door will be required, but if guests dress up in costume, they can get in at no charge.

(Best Syndication News) - The San Bernardino Public Library will be hosting a Civil War re-enactment celebrating 150 years since Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation. The library will have free “living history” programs throughout the month of January to bring history alive.

On January 12, 2013, between 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., the Feldheym Central Library (located at 555 W. 6th Street in San Bernardino) will have American Civil War Society members dressed up as Confederate Soldiers, Union Soldiers, and Civilian Corps from the Civil War era. The American Civil War Society is one of the largest nonprofit groups to reenact this particular historical period in California. The group will also have re-enactors portraying Abraham Lincoln, Mary Todd Lincoln, General and Mrs. Ulysses S. Grant, and General Robert E. Lee. This is a family friendly event and is intended to educate students about Civil War history.
