Nissan Altima Vehicle Recall announced to Repair Loose Bolts

(Best Syndication News) - The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced that Nissan is recalling around 13,919 Altima model vehicles for the years of 2012-2013 because certain bolts may become loose and fall out in the suspension. The recalled vehicles were manufactured between May 10, 2012 and July 26, 2012.

The transverse link bolts and power steering rack bolts may not have been properly tightened to the correct torque. The bolts can become loose and fall out. If this happens, the driver could lose control of the vehicle, which could lead to a crash. To repair the problem, Nissan dealers will be tightening the bolts to the correct torque.
