(Best Syndication News) - The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a voluntary recall of around 37,000 Master Forge Gas powered Barbeque Grills because they may have not been properly installed. Consumers who have the recalled grills are asked to inspect and fix the gas hose connections to make sure they are not touching the burner box.

The Master Forge Gas Grills are made by a company in China, Guangdong Vanward Electric Co., Ltd., and imported by LG Sourcing, Inc., of North Wilkesboro, N.C. The grills were sold at Lowe's stores nationwide between November 2011 and May 2012 for about $270.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations coming to California

(Best Syndication News) - NRG Energy (NYSE: NRG) announced today that they have been cleared to move forward to build over 200 electric vehicle charging stations throughout California. The charging stations will be located in the urban areas of San Francisco Bay, the San Joaquin Valley, the Los Angeles Basin, and San Diego County.

The company said that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approved the agreement between the California Public Utilities Commission and NRG. The charging stations, dubbed eVgo Freedoms, can now move forward. NRG hopes to open their first eVgo locations in early 2013.

Champion Portable Generators sold at Costco being recalled for Fire Danger

(Best Syndication News) - The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the voluntary recall of some of the Champion Power Equipment gas powered portable generators because they could catch on fire. The generators were sold exclusively at Costco Wholesale stores nationwide between December 2011 and July 2012 for about $699.

Champion Power Equipment, of Santa Fe Springs, California, announced the recall after 11 reports of fuel leaking out of the carburetor. Of these reports, eight generators caught on fire and two reported property damage.

Around 8,600 of their portable gas powered generators are involved in the recall. Two models have been identified as being problematic – model numbers 41332 and 41532. Both units have a black frame with a yellow and black control panel, a bar handle, and two wheels.

Bose Theater Speaker System Recall announced for Fire Danger

(Best Syndication News) - The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the voluntary recall of around 20,500 Dual-Voltage Bose CineMate II Home Theater Speaker Systems because a part inside the base could ignite when used on outlets rated at 220 volts or higher in countries outside of the United States.

Bose Corporation, of Framingham, Massachusetts, received two reports of the bass modules catching on fire when used with 220-volt electrical outlets in Europe.

The Dual-Voltage CineMate II and CineMate GS Series II Home Theater Speaker Systems were sold at US Military Exchanges and at certain retail location nationwide between September 2009 and September 2012. The speakers retailed for between $600 and $800.

Sears and Kmart announce Thanksgiving Day Doorbuster Sales

(Best Syndication News) - Sears Holdings announced today that both Sears and Kmart retail stores would be open on Thanksgiving Day in most states. State laws in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, and Puerto Rico will not allow for Sears and Kmart to be open on Thanksgiving Day, but will open at 12:30 AM on Black Friday, and in Puerto Rico at Midnight.

Sears stores plan to open their doors at 8 PM (local time) on Thanksgiving Day and will remain open through Friday until 10 PM.

On Thanksgiving Day, Kmart stores will open at 6 AM (local time) until 4 pm and reopen again at 8 PM until 3 AM. Then on Black Friday, Kmart will open at 5 AM and close at 11 PM.
