(Best Syndication News) - McNeil Consumer Healthcare has announced more Tylenol products that are being recalled because of consumer complaints of a musty or moldy odor. The smell has been found to be related to trace amounts of a chemical called 2,4,6-tribromoanisole (TBA). The company says that the risk for any serious medical problems would be rare, but as a precautionary measure have issued this new Tylenol recall which includes BENADRYL® ALLERGY ULTRATAB™, Children’s TYLENOL® Meltaways, TYLENOL®, Extra Strength, TYLENOL® PM, and MOTRIN® IB. Previous recalls earlier this year only involved children's medicine, this recall involves adult medicine as well.

The chemical contamination came from a wooden pallet that the packages were shipped and stored on. The lots were made before the January 15th, 2010 recall, at which type the company stopped taking shipments from the supplier that had these pallets.
