Arc of Venus to Appear Tuesday and Wednesday

(Best Syndication News) Astronomers will be watching the planet Venus on June 5th and 6th as it travels between the sun and the earth. They hope to learn more about the planet by studying the Arc of Venus, a phenomena seen in 2004 as the sun’s rays passed through the atmosphere of the planet.

Astronomers in 1639 used the transit of Venus across the sun to estimate the size of the solar system. On Tuesday they hope to discover the secret to the planet’s super-rotation. While the planet’s spin takes 243 earth days, the atmosphere circumnavigates the planet in just four days.

The announcement was made today at the Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3), which is going on in Los Angeles this week.

The home fitness-training program is able to track a person’s movement and the program will analyze how the body moves and look for areas that could be improved upon. The fitness program is tailored to each person to improve strength and athleticism.

FAA grants Scaled Composites permit to Launch Suborbital SpaceShipTwo and WhiteKnightTwo

(Best Syndication News) - Virgin Galactic announced that their vehicle developer, Scaled Composites (Scaled), was given the OK by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to launch a suborbital spacecraft named SpaceShipTwo and the carrier aircraft named WhiteKnightTwo. Virgin Galactic is the world’s first commercial spaceline that has the goal of taking private travelers into space.

"This important milestone enables our team to progress to the rocket-powered phase of test flight, bringing us a major step closer to bringing our customers to space," said George Whitesides, president and CEO of Virgin Galactic. "We thank the FAA for their timely issuance of this permit, and for their responsible oversight of the test program."

Xbox 360 now supports Amazon Instant Video with new App

The Xbox360 owner needs to have and Xbox LIVE Gold member to install the app on the game console. Owners of the Kinect can navigate the video using their voice and hand gestures. Those without Kinect can use the Xbox remote to navigate the app.

The new Xbox 360 app also works for Amazon Prime customers that can view over 17,000 movies and TV shows. Amazon Prime membership is a yearly subscription that gives shipping discounts and use of other services offered by including a video library.
