(Best Syndication News) - Apple unveiled their iPad mini today, a new thinner, faster, and lighter iPad. It is the third generation of iPad products and includes retina display for better viewing from any angle. The HD camera offers high resolution pictures and conferencing. The wireless transfer speed is also faster.

The 7.9-inch Multi-Touch display offers 35 percent more screen space than the 7-inch tablets. The viewing area when browsing the web is 67 percent more usable. The display has the same number of pixels as the other iPad tablets, so it will be compatible with all iPad-supported apps.

The Apple iPad mini is lightweight and thin. The new offering weighs only 0.68 pounds and is only 7.2 mm thick. The case is aluminum for durability and the display is glass.

The Logitech Broadcaster Wi-Fi Webcam frees a person from their computer system to be able to move about because the camera is not connected with wires. The webcam can work with live streaming, recording video, and video chatting. The new camera is able to support two different angles so that a person can edit an AB roll. The bad news is that it is currently supported only on Apple’s Mac computers, iPhones, and iPads.

(Best Syndication News) - With just days until the release of Microsoft Windows 8, Sony unveiled a mobile tabletop PC called the VAIO Tap 20 PC. It is a combination of a tablet and a PC. The hybrid design can work with a wireless keyboard and mouse turning it into a PC.

The VAIO Tap 20 PC has a 10-point multi-touch screen that will work well with the new Windows 8 operating system. The large 20-inch screen, with a built-in stand, can be adjusted to many different angles. The tablet can be used without a keyboard and mouse and laid flat on a tabletop. Add the wireless keyboard and mouse and it can be used like a regular PC computer.

Sharper Image USB Wall Charger recall announced for Fire and Burn Concerns

(Best Syndication News) - The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a voluntary recall for Sharper Image USB wall charger units because they could overheat, smoke, and emit unpleasant smells. There is a concern that the malfunctioning product could cause burns and possibly a fire.

Around 80,000 of the Sharper Image USB wall chargers are being recalled. Atomi, based in New York, NY, who is also recalling the product, imported them. They announced the recall after receiving 13 reports of the units overheating, smoking and emitting a harsh smell. No people were injured.

The units were sold at Burlington Coat Factory, Tuesday Morning, TJ Maxx, and online at a variety of websites. They were priced between $8 and $13 and were sold from October 2011 through September 2012.

SpaceX launches first Commercial ISS Cargo Mission for NASA

(Best Syndication News) - The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft has been successfully launched today carrying-out a cargo mission for NASA and SpaceX. This is the first flight using SpaceX as a commercial service to deliver items to and from the International Space Station (ISS) for NASA.

Space Exploration Technologies, or SpaceX, is based out of Hawthorne, California. SpaceX’s launch of Dragon is the first Commercial Resupply Services mission, or CRS-1, for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The Dragon capsule was launched from a Falcon 9 rocket at 8:35 pm EDT on Sunday, October 7, 2012. The rocket had nine engines that lit the sky as it took off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. There were no problems at lift-off.
