SONY unveils new 84-inch XBR 4K TV set with Four Times the Resolution than 1080p HDTV

(Best Syndication News) - Today, SONY unveiled their newest XBR 4K TV set at their San Diego headquarters. The large 84-inch display (measured diagonally) is an LED panel television set that is capable of delivering four times the resolution compared to the HDTV sets currently on the market. The XBR-84X900 TV set will also be Internet capable and 3D.

The 4K resolution is 3840 x 2160 pixels. The set can display that resolution so long as the source can send that resolution. The signal is sent through a single HDMI cable. With this TV set, consumers will be able to enjoy digital still photos from their cameras displayed at the 4K resolution on the large screen display. If the 4K resolution becomes the new standard, more devices and broadcasts with the higher resolution will become available.

There were 53 high school students from the College Track Center, VIP guests, NASA and JPL officials, and Curiosity mission members present when the’s song “Reach for the Stars (Mars Edition)” was sent and received. The special event also paid tribute to the recent passing of legendary Astronaut Neil Armstrong, who made history by being the first man to walk on the Moon.

A video message from NASA Administrator Charles Bolden was played. He suggested students study science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). "Mars has always fascinated us, and the things Curiosity tells us about it will help us learn about whether or not life was possible there," Bolden said. "And what future human explorers can expect. has provided the first song on our playlist of Mars exploration."

More Amazon Orders shipped with Prime Free Two-Day Shipping than Super Saver

(Best Syndication News) - Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) announced a milestone for shipping more free two-day shipments than they ship orders with Free Super Saver shipping. Amazon announced that they have around 15 million Amazon Prime eligible items that can be shipped using free two-day shipping. In only seven years, this number has grown from around one million items.

The Amazon Prime membership is $79 for a yearly subscription to several services. Some of these service include free upgraded shipments, streaming videos, and a lending library for Kindle Owners.

AT&T spends almost $1.1 Billion to deliver Texas customers 4G Service and Faster Internet

(Best Syndication News) - During the first half of 2012, AT&T has spent almost $1.1 billion in wireless and wired network upgrades in Texas so they can better serve their customers. The improvements include 4G service, which is the fastest broadband wireless service for mobile devices. The improvements included new cell sites and towers to further expand coverage and to handle more data transfer.

AT&T launched their 4G LTE service in Dallas, Austin, Houston, Corpus Christi, Bryan-College Station, and Waco during the first part of 2012. There were 14 new cell sites and 124 sites that added more capacity in North Texas.

The new Logitech Washable Keyboard K310 will be no match for dust bunnies building up around the keys or a soda spill causing the inevitable sticky key problem. Being able to keep a clean keyboard could also help keep germs at bay.

The Logitech Washable Keyboard K310 can be hand washed in up to 11 inches of water. However, the USB cable must be detached before submerging in the water. The keyboard has drainage holes in the back that will help the device dry. The key characters have been laser printed and UV coated to prevent the letters from wearing away and fading when washed. The keyboard is rated up to five million keystrokes.
