(Best Syndication) Although Russia denies the accusation, the Republic of Georgia presented evidence today that a Russian warplane had entered deep into its airspace and fired an air-to-ground missile. The missile did not explode and no one injured, but Georgia is still seeking a special session of the United Nations Security Council to address the incident.
The country of Georgia says they have a “mounting body of evidence” and claims the Russians are not being forthright concerning the missile which struck near Tsitelubani, a village about 30 miles from Tbilisi, the Georgian capital. This is the second missile to strike Georgia in a year. The Russians claim that Georgia attacked themselves.
