Lexus has the
first luxury hybrid sedan called the GS 450h shipping this spring.
The Lexus GS 450h has certification for Super Ultra-Low Emission (SULEV)
standard.
The GS 450h
has a 3.5 liter V6 engine along with the high-output electric-drive
motor. The combined force of the two motors delivers over 300
horsepower. You can accelerate from 0 – 60 in less than 6 seconds.
It has large 18 inch stylish wheels. You can expect around 35.8
miles per gallon fuel usage.
Since it is a
Sedan and has 4 doors it makes it better for a small family compared
with other hybrids that have only 2 seats. Nice features that are
offered with the GS 450h are moon roof, voice activated DVD
Navigation System, backup camera with an intuitive parking assist,
rain-sensing windshield wipers, powered rear sunshade. There are
four sensors built in to monitor tire pressure if it is severely low
or if you have a flat tire.
It has SIRIUS
Satellite Radio availability; however you have to pay a monthly
service charge to access these stations. The speaker system is
extensive. The GS 450h has 14 speakers, with 330 watt of power.
There is also Bluetooth technology support for wireless connections
with other Bluetooth devices.
The Lexus GS
450h Hybrid car has all the features and more to satisfy the driver
that wants it all. You should check with the government or Lexus
car dealer for the exact amount of the tax credit. The Lexus RX
400h model offers a $2,200 tax credit.
