MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central Launch TV Shows for Download on
iTunes

MTV Networks,
including MTV, COMEDY CENTRAL, and Nickelodeon made available today
favorite TV shows for download from Apple's iTunes website. Some of
the shows include “Punk’d”, “South Park, “Dora the Explorer”,
“SpongeBob SquarePants”, and “Laguna Beach”.
Apple's
iTunes website will sell these shows at $1.99 per episode and can be
viewed on a computer or an Apple iPod. There are also other shows
made available including COMEDY CENTRAL’s “Stand-Up” will be the
first stand-up comedy show available. MTV’s “Real World/Road Rules
Challenge: Gauntlet 2” will be also available.
There are a
total of 40 TV shows now available at Apple's iTunes website for
downloading. Video on Apple's iTunes have been a hit with over 8
million video sold so far. There is also over 3,000 Music Videos
available as well.
Other TV shows
are available from NBC Universal, Sci Fi Channel, USA Network, ABC
and Disney television shows. As time goes on, there will likely be
more shows available. You should see more networks also offer the
TV shows available on their websites to purchase to download as
well.
Apple
iTunes selection is extensive and is one of the best download sites
for media at this time. Besides offering video, iTunes offers 2
million music song downloads, 25,000 podcasts, and over 16,000
audiobooks that are available for download too.
