Lindsay Lohan's Mother Fights Back - Access Hollywood Reports Mom Disputes Studio and Claims Her Daughter was Sick From the Heat

Lindsay Lohan’s mother fought back after a letter surfaced from Morgan Creek Productions CEO, James Robinson. The letter was critical of the star and her behavior. The letter, which was first published on www.thesmokinggun.com, said "You and your representatives have told us that your various late arrivals and absences from the set have been the result of illness; today we were told it was 'heat exhaustion."

Robinson did not believe her explanations. He said “We are well aware that your ongoing all-night heavy partying is the real reason for your so-called 'exhaustion.’” It is doubtful that Robinson wanted the letter to be made public. The dispatch was clear; he was looking out for the interests of Morgan Creek.

Lohan’s mother called the wording in the correspondence “ridiculous”. According to Access Hollywood, Dina Lane said the producers claims were out of line. Dina Lane is Lindsay’s mother.

Dina said that last week her daughter was taken to the hospital for heat exhaustion when California was sweltering in a heat wave. The 20 year old Lohan was released from the hospital after getting a vitamin B shot.

In the Billy Bush Interview airing tonight, the stars mother says ""The Wording Was Ridiculous…Maybe He Has Personal Issues With Whomever And It Came Out With My Child. I Don't Know Him. I Can't Judge Him. I Don't Think It Was A Smart Thing To Do To A Young Girl."

When asked about accusations in the letter that Lindsay's "…ongoing all night heavy partying" was responsible for her not showing up on set, Dina said, "Lindsay gets to work late, OK… She's a human being. There was one day when she was late and they worked the schedule around her. Garry (Marshall, the film's director), Jane (Fonda, her co-star), everybody loves her."
