Baby Suri Not Seen By Friends of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Yet - Scientology Vs Catholic Religion For Naming Ceremony

Rumors are swirling as to why Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ baby Suri has been hidden from even their closest friends. Us Magazine reported that Cruise and Holmes have yet to show Suri off to fellow Scientologists John Travolta, Kelly Preston or Lisa Marie Presley.

It appears they have also been involved in a “tug-of-war” over the baby. The National Enquirer (NE) says Tom has demanded a Church of Scientology naming ceremony for their 3-month-old daughter, Catholic Katie is insisting that she be baptized as a Catholic.

Tom has not been secretive about his commitment to Scientology. An unnamed source told the NE that "Since before the child was born, Tom has been planning Suri's role within the church. He's been talking to a top Scientology official about the baby naming ceremony he wants."

The ceremony could give outsiders their first view of the baby, but so far not even their good friends Will Smith and his wife Jada have seen the child. According to Us magazine a source said “Every time, it’s a different excuse: He’s busy or Kate’s not feeling well.” The source added that the Smiths thought it was “so weird”.

After the baby was born the photo agency WireImage approached multiple news outlets offering pictures of Suri for action. Just days later, on May 11^th, before the bidding was to begin told the agencies that the “the baby shoot is on hold for now. There is no additional info as to when this may happen or if it will even happen at all.”
