Tom Cruise and Katy Holmes Baby Suri Not Seen Yet - Ultrasounds and Sonograms Dangerous According to Some If Done By Untrained People

The top celebrity story of the moment is the contriversy swirling around the Tom Cruise and Katy Holmes baby Suri. Although bids were about to be accepted for a photo-shoot of the baby but were later cancelled, the baby has not been seen by either close friends or any photographer.

The National Enquirer says that a source close to the couple may have some issues to deal with. According to the tabloid, “The strain of keeping baby Suri under wraps is taking a toll on Tom and Katie's relationship and that they have split over how to deal with the situation”.

Tom’s spokesperson denies the couples relationship is strained, but the unidentified source said, “Tom's total obsession with secrecy has sparked a host of bizarre lies and fabrications that threaten to tear the couple apart”.

It has been 3 months since the birth of Suri. Before the birth Tom imported an at-home sonogram machine to check out the babies every move. According to Justice Magazine, this was considered wacky to some people, while others considered it “downright dangerous”.

Now the California Assembly approved a bill that would prohibit the selling, leasing or distributing of an ultrasound machine by California manufacturers to anyone other than a licensed medical professional. Author of the Bill, Democrat Assemblyman Ted Lieu said "If someone sees Tom Cruise buy one, they think this is the thing to do. This is a public safety measure. There's really no medical reason for an untrained person to use this machine."
