The rewritten report did not mention some of the remarks TMZ claims was
made by Gibson including:

"You
mother f****r. I'm going to f*** you."
2)
"F*****g Jews... The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the
world." Gibson then asked the deputy, "Are you a Jew?"
3)
Gibson
told the arresting deputy that he 'owns Malibu' and will spend all of
his money to 'get even' with him.
The managing editor for TMZ, Harvey Levin, told a CBS News affiliate on
Sunday that the Sheriff’s Department “flat out lied”. Levin says the
Lost Hills Sheriff’s Substation in Malibu was told by Sheriff Lee Baca
to tone the report down “because of all of the Israeli issues going on
right now.” Levin says Baca was very concerned about this.
The LA County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson, Steve Whitmore, told
the CBS affiliate the reports of a cover-up are “absolutely not true.”
But he said he “cannot confirm or deny” whether the deputy was told to
doctor his report because it is part of an ongoing investigation.
TMZ said at one point in the Sheriff's station Gibson was "jumping like
a monkey" on a steel cage and told the arresting deputy, "I'm not going
to hurt you physically. I'm gonna hurt you. I'm gonna make you lose."
Gibson has issued a personal heartfelt apology to the officer involved.
It is possible that this suspected cover-up could overshadow the
original arrest.
