of concerned residents showed up to get information about the Station
Fire and to ask questions of local government agencies (see video
below). At least 400 residents attended the meeting held on the grass
field of Wrightwood Elementary.

2009-2010 budget with both Ken Anderson and Joe Fahrlender voted against
the budget while Mark Roberts was the swing vote in favor.

| This is the April 15th 2009 Phelan Pinon Hills CSD Meeting. Various topics were discussed including the rebuilding of the Pressure Relief Valves (PRV) around the district. The bad news is that they were in bad shape. The good news is that they have nearly all been fixed. Perry Dahlstrom with the Golden State Water company spoke to the District. Golden State is a private water company that sells water in the Wrightwood area. They would like to connect to the district near Zone G. Supervisor Postmus asked the district to include Zone G during the formation process. The area is located near the intersection of Highway 2 and Highway 138. Goldenstate plans to drill a well on property in the district near Rapture Road. They would like to make a preliminary agreement before a Public Utilities Commission hearing soon. | Phelan Pinon Hills CSD Meeting For March 11th 2009 |
| The Board chose a contractor through a bidding process to repair wells 14 and 11. Lightning destroyed the pump in 11 and lack of a filter destroyed the pump in well 14. The county failed to put a filter in well 14 last year. Other topics were discussed including a new CSD building. One letter mentioned that a building may not be needed right now. |

| This is Part 1 of the August 27th 2008 Phelan Pinon Hills CSD Meeting. Various Topics were discussed including an upgrade for the computer control system for the water portion of the CSD. There was also a discussion concerning the need for establishing guidelines for renting out the community centers. The guidelines would be used in renting the centers to religious groups. Council and attorney Steven Kennedy will present the board with a draft for their approval. His concern was the issue of violating the first amendment to the Constitution – specifically the separation clause. Here is the meeting |
